Ph.D PRQGRAMS:

Ph.D Programs are offered in the following academic departments:

Civil & Environmental Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Mechanical & Production Engineering / Computer Engineering / information Technology / Polymer Science & Chemical Technology / Bio-technology Engineering / Applied Chemistry / Applied Mathematics /Applied Physics / Management and Humanities.

M.Tech. (CE/EE/EC/ME/PE/IT)
i. A candidate must have passed the Bachelor's Degree Examination in the appropriate branch of engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics & Communication / Civil Production / Control & Instrumentation / Computer Engineering / Information Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised University or any other Examination recognized by the University Equivalent thereto. OR A candidate must have passed in the A.M. I.E. (India) Exam, with appropriate specialization/ Grade I.E. T.E. (India) A.M.I.E. (London) A.M. I. Mech. Engg. (London) A.M.I. Structure Engineering, any other examination in the concerned branch recognized as equivalent to B.Tech. by the University.

ii. A candidate for admission to full time PROGRAM must have qualified in the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).

M.Tech. (Polymer Technology)

i. The candidate should have passed B.E./B.Tech. Examination in any branch of Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised University or any other Examination recognized by the University equivalent thereto. OR

M.Sc. (Chemistry) of any recognized University or equivalent thereto. ii. All the candidates for admission to full time M.Tech. Programs must have qualified in the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).

M.Tech. Bioinformatics

i. A candidate who has passed B.Tech. (Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent / M.Sc. Micro Biology / Biotechnology from any University recognised by UGC or equivalent thereto with a CGPA 6.75 on a 10 point scale or 60% marks.

ii. A candidate for admission to full time program must have qualified the GATE examination.

M.Tech. (Microwave and Optical Communication)

i. The candidate should have passed B.E./B.Tech. Examination in Electronics & Communication with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised University or any other examination recognised by DTU equivalent thereto. OR

M.Sc. Electronics/M.Sc. in Physics with Electronics/Radio Physics/Solid State Physics with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised University or any other examination recognised as equivalent by DTU.

ii. A candidate for admission to full-time M.Tech. Program must have qualified in the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).

The application form can be downloaded from DTU website: www.dce.edu and the duly filled application form be submitted in the University along-with a demand draft of Rs. 1,000/- on or before the last date of receipt of completed application form.

The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of "Registrar, Delhi Technological University", payable at "Delhi".

Master in Architecture (Urban Design)

Doctoral Programme in Architecture and Planning: Masters or Equivalent degree in Architecture / Planning with a good academic record.

Master in Planning (Urban and Regional Planning): Minimum 55% marks in aggregate in B.Arch / B.Plan OR BE / B.Tech. in civil Engineering OR M.Sc. / M.A. in (Geography / Economics / Sociology).

Master in Architecture (Urban Design): B.Arch with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

Application forms along with the Information Brochure will be available from 25th April, 2011 on cash payment of Rs.100/-.

Completed application form should be accompanied by a DD of Rs.1000/- drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of “Director, SPA Bhopal”, payable at Bhopal.

The Sc/ST PH candidates are required to send a DD of Rs.500/-
