Ph.D.-(Full Time & Part Time) Engg. branches of Civil, Chemical, Computer, I.T., Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Metallurgical & Materials, Structure plus Management, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Humanities & Social Sciences. Assistantships to full time candidates, as per Institute norms.

M. Tech.- (Sponsored & Part Time programmes in Engg.) Environmental, Water Resources, Transportation, Power Systems, Electronics & Communication, VLSI Design, Manufacturing System, Energy, Metallurgical & Materials, Chemical, Computer, Structural and Disaster Assessment and Mitigation.

M. Plan. - (Sponsored & Part Time in Urban Planning).

M. Sc. – (Full Time) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

For Ph.D.:
Candidates holding Masters Degree in Engineering / Technology/ Sciences/ Management/Humanities & Social Sciences or equivalent with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 7.75 on a 10 point scale or equivalent as determined by the Institutes or having minimum 70% marks in aggregate where marks are awarded (except in Humanities & Social Science where the requirement is first class with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.75).

For candidates belonging to SC/ST or physically handicapped category,
the minimum requirement of percentage of marks in aggregate is 65% and CGPA is 7.25 on a 10-point scale (except in Humanities & Social Science where the requirement is first class with a minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 6.25).

A candidate can be considered for part time admission if he/she has 2 years experience and fulfils the eligibility conditions defined above.

Final year/semester students whose result is awaited are also eligible to apply.

Foreign candidates who fulfill the qualifications equivalent to educational qualifications required for admission to Ph.D. programme in the relevant discipline should apply through proper channel.

For M.Tech.: B.E./B.Tech. in relevant fields are required

For M.Sc.: B.Sc. in relevant disciplines

Minimum marks for M.Tech. & M.Sc.

Candidates of general category/ OBC seeking admission to the postgraduate programmes must have at least 60% marks or CGPA of 6.75 on a 10-point scale at the qualifying degree level; SC/ST category candidates, must have 55% marks or 6.25 CGPA on a 10-point scale. The percentage of marks will be considered as aggregate awarded for the qualifying degree.

Application form may be downloaded from the web site and be sent alongwith the Demand Draft of Rs. 400/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/PH category) in favour of the Registrar, MNIT, Jaipur payable at Jaipur.

These seats are reserved for Terrorist Affected / Riots Affected, Disabled Persons, Kashmiri Migrants and wards of Armed Forces candidates who have qualified AIEEE 2011 and residing in Punjab and Union Territory of Chandigarh and have passed 10+2 (non Medical group) or equivalent with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) for sports quota:

The candidates who have qualified AIEEE 2011 conducted by CBSE, Delhi and are desirous to seek admission under Sports Quota to B.Tech. (Argi. Engg.) program should appear for actual trial at PAU Gymnasium on 03.06.2011 at 10.00 AM.

They should bring original academic and sports certificates along with photograph to establish their claim to Sports Quota under PAu rules.

B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) for reserved categories:
